In order to proceed with a Land Disturbance Permit in Peachtree City, GA, one must obtain Conceptual Site Plan approval by the Planning Commission. The proposed site plan and building elevations are first reviewed by city staff prior to being placed on the Planning Commission agenda. Civilogistix worked closely with the city planners to ensure the proposed Popeyes fast-food restaurant located in Lexington Circle met all development codes prior to the public hearing. The project was presented to the Planning Commission and all questions concerning the proposed development were answered. The project was approved on the first submittal to the Planning Commission. After the Planning Commission approval, full construction documents were started.

The site was located in an existing shopping center and as much as the existing infrastructure was used as possible to save on development costs. Much of the existing curb and gutter and some of the pavement was saved as well. Vehicle tracking was used to ensure that delivery trucks could get in and out of the site to make deliveries. In order to meet the city’s stormwater requirements, a Hydro International Up-Flo Filter was proposed to meet the water quality requirements for the site. In order to obtain the Land Development Permit the plans were submitted and permitted through Peachtree City.
