Civilogistix developed the Primrose School of Braselton in Gwinnett County, GA. The site consisted of 42 feet of elevation change across the site. Care was taken in designing the daycare building and playground facilities into the site while protecting the adjacent single-family neighborhood. The owners required a safe, flat play area for the children. Much consideration was taken to ensure none of the surrounding areas would be adversely affected by the daycare due to the drastic terrain change.
Services performed included: design development, grading plans, utility layout, site plan, stormwater analysis, landscape and irrigation design, and land disturbance permitting coordination. The plans were submitted to the following departments in order to obtain the land disturbance permit (LDP): Braselton Public Works, Braselton Planning and Development, Zoning, Gwinnett County Fire Department, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and GDOT. Other permits obtained included a site development plan permit and a water and sewer plan permit.
